More passing thought

To trust others is like giving them privileged access control.

If you trust the right people, they can save you from harming yourself when you are incapable of saving yourself.

If you trust malicious people, you give them the key to rewrite your very being. You trust their advice, their reprimands, but they are all based on the advisor's personal desire.

It can be overwhelming knowing who to trust. Hence the importance of knowledge that is sanditthiko (self-evident).

But we are blessed. When you are lost and you feel there's no one, you can always trust in the eternal friend of all humanity, the enlightened one and his teachings.
